INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The International Conference on Innovative and Sustainable Management Practices (ICISMP-2023) was a remarkable event organized by PISM in collaboration with ICT Academy, the knowledge partner, Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of HRD), MRSA and Humanistic Management network (India chapter).
This prestigious gathering brought together industry experts, academicians, researchers, and students from around the world to discuss and explore innovative management practices that contribute to sustainable development. The conference served as a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaborations among participants.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Vice-Chancellor for the continuous encouragement and support in organizing this significant conference. Sir’s presence at our conference added immense value and inspiration to all participants. I am very thankful to all delegates, session chair and co-chair, Reviewers & other Guests who are joining the conference. The ICISMP, 2023, Journey started in February 2023 with six people’s brain storming session was held in the boardroom of PISM and the management accepted to organize the international conference in the same day. The agenda was planned immediately, later with several meetings and discussion we started with the search of the team and the title with having 10 advisory committee members and six international advisories. With 13 meetings, we came to conclusion to get the management and science domain. The clear action plan was prepared for the conference in the month of March and started promoting about the Conference. The total abstracts we received were 120 and the abstracts were sent to 4 International and 4 national reviewers. The 80 papers were accepted after the reviewers and today we are proud to say that all the papers have come for the presentation. In that we received in HR domain 27 papers, finance 24, marketing 17 and IT 12, in which 50% of the participants are presented their papers in online and 50% of the papers were presented in off-line.
A single-blind review process was employed, where the reviewer remained anonymous to the authors throughout the process. Reviewers were requested to decide on accepting or rejecting the submitted paper, along with suggestions to improve the quality of the paper. After getting the review report, authors were informed of acceptance or rejection.
The conference maintained a high-quality peer-review process for all the manuscripts submitted, starting with a primary evaluation that included a plagiarism check for the original contents. Rejections are at this stage had serious scientific flaws, very poor grammar or Plagiarism test more than 15% were outside the aim and scope of this Conference.

In the grand inaugural ceremony, we had the privilege of hosting esteemed dignitaries who added prestige and wisdom to the event. Our chief guest was none other than Dr. Niranjana Vanalli sir, Vice Chancellor of Bengaluru North University. With his vast experience and expertise in the field of education, sir brought a quality of excellence to the occasion.
We were also honored to have Dr. CA. IS Prasad sir, Past President of FKCCI, as our Guest of Honor. His remarkable contributions to the business community and his deep understanding of economic dynamics made him a perfect fit for this role.
Adding further value to the event was our distinguished Keynote Speaker, Dr. Shiv K. Tripathi sir, Vice Chancellor of Atmiya University. With his profound knowledge and insightful perspectives on higher education, sir captivated the audience with his address.
Furthermore, we were privileged to have an international keynote speaker who brought a global perspective to our gathering. Sir’s presence enriched our understanding and broadened our horizons on various subjects.
I wanted to take a moment to recap the recent panel discussion we had on disruptive technologies, as it was truly an enlightening session.
Panel Discussion was moderated by our esteemed advisor Dr. Manohar Chikkanna sir, Dean of ISBR Business School, Bengaluru. The panel consisted of distinguished domain experts who shared their valuable insights and experiences. We were honored to have Dr. Harold Andrew Patrick sir, Professor & Dean of CMS Business School, Dr. Sri Ram K, Executive Vice President of Concept QA Labs and Mr. Raghuveer sir, Director-Cloud Campus, Teleperformance as our esteemed panel members.
Dr. Manohar Chikkanna sir skillfully guided the conversation, ensuring that each panel member had an opportunity to share their expertise and engage in meaningful discussions. The dynamic exchange of ideas left us all inspired and motivated to explore new possibilities in our respective fields.
Post lunch track session had started in four different locations with 8 different subject experts, 4 members from national taken part in the conference physically and 4 members are from international joined online to evaluate the papers.
The valedictory function will be followed by the paper presentation, with Dr. M Nirmala mam, Associate Professor, CBSMS, Bengaluru Central University, as our chief guest, and Dr. V Suresh Babu sir, Chairman & Managing Director, Vasuki Group of Companies, as our special guest for the today’s occasion.
