The placement session conducted by Prof. Sharath Chandra Kamath K  Campus Director PISM , Dr. S. R Swarnalatha(Principal PISM) ,Prof. S.PremaKumari (Dean PISM).served as an insightful and practical guide for students preparing to enter today’s highly competitive job market. The session focused on three key areas: understanding the current market scenario, aligning with industry expectations, and mastering interview conduct and presentation.

Prof. Kamath began by shedding light on the present market conditions, emphasizing that the job landscape is rapidly evolving due to technological advancements, automation, and global competition. He highlighted that companies are becoming more selective, prioritizing candidates who not only possess technical knowledge but also demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to continuously learn. He encouraged students to stay updated with industry trends and develop relevant skills that match market demands.

Moving on to employer expectations, he stressed that organizations are looking for well-rounded individuals. Beyond academic performance, qualities such as communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and a proactive attitude play a crucial role.
