The primary purpose of organizing the POSH Act awareness program was to educate students and staff about the importance of preventing sexual harassment and ensuring a safe environment within the institution. The event aimed to spread awareness about the legal framework that protects individuals from harassment and to promote a culture of respect and equality. One of the key objectives of the program was to help students understand what constitutes sexual harassment. Many individuals are unaware of the different forms it can take, including physical, verbal, non-verbal, and online harassment, By clearly explaining these aspects, the event aimed to help participants identify inappropriate behaviour and take necessary action.
