A movie screening session was conducted for the fresh Undergraduate (UG) batch in the Seminar Hall. During the session, Episodes 1 and 3 of “Teach You a Lesson” (Netflix series) were screened for the students. The objective of the activity was to provide meaningful learning through visual storytelling while encouraging students to reflect on important life values, decision-making, personal growth, and social responsibility.
The screening created an engaging and interactive learning environment, allowing students to connect with the themes and messages portrayed in the series. The episodes highlighted valuable lessons related to discipline, relationships, challenges faced by young individuals, and the consequences of choices made in life. Students actively watched the episodes with interest and participated in discussions following the screening.
The session served as an effective platform for experiential learning, helping students develop critical thinking, empathy, and awareness of real-life situations. Faculty members guided the students in understanding the key takeaways and encouraged them to relate the lessons to their academic and personal lives.
Overall, the movie screening was a successful and enriching activity that promoted learning beyond the classroom. It provided students with an opportunity to gain insights, reflect on important values, and engage in meaningful discussions, making the event both educational and memorable for the fresh UG batch.
