The Orientation Programme for the first-year students was successfully conducted on 8 June 2026 at Patel Institute of Science and Management. The event was organized to warmly welcome the incoming batch and help them become familiar with the academic environment, institutional values, and opportunities available to them during their college journey.

The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr. Venugopal K. R., former Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University. His address was highly inspiring and motivational, encouraging students to embrace learning with curiosity, discipline, and determination. Drawing from his vast academic and professional experience, he shared valuable insights on higher education, personal growth, and the importance of developing a positive attitude toward challenges and opportunities.

The orientation session provided students with an overview of the institution, its academic programs, campus facilities, rules and regulations, and various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The programme helped create a sense of belonging among the students and encouraged them to actively participate in campus life.

The next nine days of the orientation schedule promise to be an exciting blend of learning and enjoyment.
